Hi Stampers, well you guessed it. I finally missed last week all together. It was bad enough that I was late the week before but - a whole week just gone?! Well, I sort of have a good excuse. I've been re-organizing my stamping studio. Or maybe just organizing it since it hadn't ever really been "finished". I'm very excited because now it's finally in good enough shape (more or less) that someone else can come and stamp with me. So that's what's happening this weekend. I hope to have something fun to show when the weekend is over. But on to this week's project. I have another card for you. This was fun to make. The technique is called "Joseph's Coat". Using glossy cardstock you stamp and clear emboss your design. Then you sponge or brayer on color. The color under the embossing will remain white. If you want the design to be colored then apply that before you emboss. Then you sponge or brayer on a darker color than before. In the case of white you can use most colors. The stamps used are Serene Snowflakes from the Holiday mini and Teeny Tiny Wishes from the big catalog. Inks are Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, and Night of Navy. The cardstock is Whisper White and Glossy white and a tiny bit of Bashful Blue. Have a fabulous weekend and do something you love.
